Gasometer
M9790 Manual Gasometer

The M9790 Manual Gasometer measures gas volume at ambient conditions. The gasometer includes a glass tube, floating piston, crank, temperature sensor, pressure sensor, encoder, and displays for the pressure, volume, and temperature. The gas volume is measured in a high accuracy diameter tube; an air-tight piston slides into the tube, making it a chamber with variable volume (2 liters is standard; a 1 or 3 liter chamber is available upon request). Pressure variations are caused by injecting or withdrawing gas. The volume and pressure can be measured by rotating the crank, which moves piston.
